what is SweetBix all about? free professional web design and hosting services for small to medium sized businesses on a budget.
how does it work? the website is free. you pay for hosting over a set amount of time. it essentially lets you have a $3,000+ web package without paying for it immediately.
what is hosting? hosting is where your files and email details are stored. a website won't work without it.
how long does it take for a website to be designed? depending on the complexity, project scope and brief: 7-21 days.
what is a domain name? SweetBix.com.au is a domain name. it's a name on the internet registrar to point to your website, content and host. It also manages your email address.
I already have my current website hosted elsewhere. can I swap over? yes, ask us how.
do you design for IE6? absolutely not.
do you do flash? no. We use CSS3, HTML5, JS. these are the latest and greatest that work on all iphone and ipad devices.
I'm not sure which package to use. how do I decide? contact us via the form on the left. we can advise you.
what content should I put on my website? this can be discussed with your account manager. it mostly depends on the function of the website. pictures of your kids and pets aren't classed as relevant content.
will I need to have a face to face meeting to design the website? not always. depending on the complexity of the project. if you wish to meet your account manager in Melbourne; you're welcome to do so to discuss your project and requirements.
will my website be search engine friendly? we optimise exclusively with Google. SweetBix will provide you a Google login to manage your site, statistics and sales reports.
what is site maintenance? updates, Google Anayltics information, additions, changes, anything else that requires to keep the website up to date and in good working order.
